Iris in Wonderland  TEXTILE COLLECTION 

Iris in Wonderland textile collection was inspired by a visit to a Iris Van Herpen fashion exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art Atlanta.  The creative mind of  Iris Van Herpen and the weirdly wonderful compliment of producer Tim Burton's imagination sparked an interest to explore how their magical worlds represent reciprocity between  craftsmanship and innovation in technique and material.   
The magic and mystique of reevaluating reality to express and underline individuality.

Patterns were designed for Colorpoint broadloom carpet as Custom Rugs, Runners and Fields. 
I am currently exploring complimentary designs as Printed Textile fabrics with additional patterns to the collection.
For this custom Floor Plan carpet layout, the patterns set
the stage for an intriguing experience as one travels from each space bringing forth the mood of mystery and fantasy.

The depth and coloration creates an explorative nature
and feel, leaving one's imagination to be open and free.
