Tuft Carpet  CUSTOM DESIGN

The following custom Tuft carpet tile designs were an experimentation of thread-up, color, scale, texture, pile height and weight using solution dyed and skein dyed yarns.

Designs incorporate current trends in the Corporate workplace where millennials are increasingly driving Interior Design.  Many millennials prefer natural or simplistic backdrops and strategic art placed, making them happier and more productive.  Designs mimic nature providing naturalistic and artful elements within a space.

1.  "Nature - Abstract Wood" created from the inspiration of the more rigid pieces of drift wood.  Pile heights 
with Cut and Loop yarn were examined to create great depth and give the illusion of naturalism.  Cool and Warm colorations were explored that are intrinsic of drift wood in various regions.   Finished Carpet Tiles 18"x36."

2.  "Nature - Abstract Leaves" created from the inspiration of loose foliage in nature.  Color studies coordinate with

3.  "Strategic Art" tuft pattern created from the inspiration of modern art.  Thread-up, pile heights and yarn types were designed to achieve a distressed and worn aesthetic.  Thread-up was strategically designed so the tile "cut lines" allowed
for a visually blended  installation.  Cut and Loop yarns add visual depth and luminosity.  Finished Carpet Tiles 18"x36."
